本ポリシーは、relaytが提供するChrome拡張機能「CueBack」における利用者情報の取り扱いについて説明します。

1. 取り扱う情報と利用目的

CueBackは、次の情報を利用者のブラウザ内で取り扱います。

設定情報：有効・無効、操作モード、割り当てキー、移動秒数、スクロール方向。利用者が選んだ設定を維持するために使用します。
初回ガイドの確認状態：ガイドの表示要否を判断するために使用します。
表示中のYouTube動画IDと再生位置：対象動画を識別し、再生位置の調整と一時保存した位置への復帰のために使用します。
キー入力・スクロールのイベント：拡張機能への操作を判定するために、その場で処理します。入力した文章や操作履歴として記録しません。

2. 保存場所と保存期間

設定情報と初回ガイドの確認状態は、利用者の端末内にあるChromeの拡張機能用ローカルストレージに保存します。CueBackが別の端末へ同期することはありません。設定情報は変更時に更新され、拡張機能の削除または保存データの消去まで保持されます。

動画IDと再生位置は、対象タブのメモリに一時的に保持します。別の動画への移動、ページの再読み込み、タブを閉じることで破棄されます。閲覧履歴や動画ごとの再生位置一覧として蓄積しません。

3. 外部送信・第三者提供

CueBackは、上記の情報を開発者のサーバーや第三者へ送信しません。アクセス解析、広告配信、追跡のための情報収集は行いません。CueBackの利用にアカウント登録は必要ありません。

4. 情報の削除

ChromeからCueBackを削除すると、拡張機能がローカルストレージに保存した設定情報とガイド確認状態を削除できます。タブ内の一時情報は、第2項に記載した操作で破棄されます。開発者はこれらの端末内データを保有していません。

5. 適用範囲

本ポリシーはCueBackによる情報の取り扱いを対象とします。YouTube、Chromeおよび問い合わせ先として利用するXによる情報の取り扱いには、各サービスのポリシーが適用されます。

6. 本ポリシーの変更

実装や情報の取り扱いに変更がある場合は、本ポリシーを更新し、最終更新日を変更します。

This policy describes how CueBack, a Chrome extension provided by relayt, handles user information.

1. Information processed and its purposes

CueBack processes the following information within your browser:

Settings: enabled state, activation mode, shortcut keys, seek step size, and scroll direction. These are used to retain your preferences.
Introductory-guide dismissal state: used to determine whether to display the guide.
Current YouTube video ID and playback positions: used to identify the current video, adjust playback, and return to a temporarily saved position.
Keyboard and scroll events: processed as they occur to identify extension commands. They are not recorded as typed text or an activity history.

2. Storage location and retention

Settings and the guide-dismissal state are stored in Chrome's local extension storage on your device. CueBack does not sync them to other devices. Settings are updated when changed and retained until the extension is removed or its stored data is cleared.

Video IDs and playback positions are held temporarily in the relevant tab's memory. They are discarded when you switch videos, reload the page, or close the tab. CueBack does not build a browsing history or a list of saved positions across videos.

3. External transmission and third-party sharing

CueBack does not transmit the information described above to the developer's servers or to third parties. It does not collect information for analytics, advertising, or tracking. No CueBack account is required.

4. Deleting information

Removing CueBack from Chrome deletes the settings and guide-dismissal state stored by the extension in local storage. Temporary tab information is discarded as described above. The developer does not hold a copy of this on-device data.

5. Scope

This policy covers information handled by CueBack. YouTube, Chrome, and X, which is used as a contact channel, handle information under their own policies.

6. Changes to this policy

If the implementation or information-handling practices change, this policy and its last-updated date will be updated.
